Yes I am making a lot of posts today...it's a slow day at work. Big whoop, wanna fight about it? Anyways, sometimes I see a coin on ebay that really says to me "buy me or you will regret it". Sigh. This one said that to me. I thought it would like nice with some of the other toners in the 7070. Do cointalkers like it? I have no where else to turn to for opinions! These are the sellers images.
I'm not a tone expert but I definately like the way it looks, and judging from your post it sounds like you do too. I have no goal in collecting, atleast not yet, so if I see a coin I like I buy it just because. That looks like a coin that fits that criteria for me.
You sound like me when I started collecting (last year)... no goals whatsoever lol. Thats how I ended up with 20 different danscos haha. because I was so ridiculous with buying everything, I since turned my focus to nickels , and now to fill the Dansco 7070 Type set. It serves my issue with buying different types of coins. For now.... What happens when the album is full? Who knows? Not me! I'm sure I overpaid for this dime, but you know what? Thats fine, I like it.
I do like it very much gbroke. By the way, do you talk back to the coins that speak to you? It's ok if you do....I've had a few conversations with coins over the years too. I think it's pretty normal for collectors like us.....isn't it? Nice pickup. Bruce
i love toned silver dimes but for some reason those colors say AT to me. i have picked up a load of them recently and i just dont feel right about this one. lol could just be me. i like the idea of getting some color in your 7070 set. i am putting together a toned rosie set regular and proof issues. have about 1/2 done so far. edited good luck :thumb:
Unless the colors are more vibrant in hand I don't think it's worth a premium , the big question is if you like it . If you do get it , my opinion means little for your collection . rzage
Thanks guys! urbanchemist - I truly feel it is NT, not just because the seller was bashing AT's, but the dime told me it was natural.
lol well if the dime says it then it has to be. maybe because the picture is dark the toning looks like AT. still a nice coin :thumb:
