Bumping this. I've been picking up world war 2 era NAAFI tokens whenever I get the chance, but they don't seem to be widely known. They often sell in the $5 to $15 price range, but are probably rare enough that they should command more of a premium. These tokens were issued in 1/2 Franc (octagonal) & 1d (round: 1 pence) denominations for use by Allied troops in 1944 & 1945 on the front lines in Europe. They were made of an early form of plastic similar to Bakelite and have generally not aged well. Without careful flash lighting, the background has darkened so much that the text is often easy to miss.
