Hey everyone, I have a question I have a mint medal on my desk at work I bought it at the mint in philly for displaying not really for collecting it is starting to tarnish and show signs of being handeled. what would be the best way to clean this? And do these things ever go up in value? I do like the large size of them. Thanks!!!

I thought the large ones were usually made with an antiqued finish.

In any case, they do not usually go up in value since most are open-ended or at least around for a long time. Also, if you are going to start cleaning it, that will affect what little value it has. If it is tarnishing naturally, I would let it do its thing.

It sounds like a Mint medallion that came in the Souvenir Sets. They're not worth anything, if that's what it is, but they're still neat.
