OT: Dad has to brag , so post a note to honor this little girl !!!

My daughter (Sarah) has worked really hard and completed the first step of her goal that she has created for herself !! She hopes to make it to the National Spelling Bee !! Last night she won 1ST place in the Fifth Grade and 3rd Overall and has advanced to County Finals !! Mom and Dad are very, very , proud of her and I just wanted to share with my other family what she has done !! Keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck !!

Good luck. I won our schools competition for 7th and 8th graders when I was in 7th grade, and came in 5th out of 40 in the county. Spelled 'pinnacle' wrong. ARRGGGGHHH I hate reading or hearing that word to this day.

 

We are extremely proud of her !! She puts alot of effort into her grades and makes straight A's constantly and with very little prodding from mom and dad !! I know she's only in the Fifth grade but she has gotten Academic Excellence Medals 3yrs in a row including Math , Science , and Spelling Medals !!
