Its a 2009 One dollar bill, circulated but not too bad, serial number is H08000800A

is this a desirable type of repeater with only 2 numbers, and does anyone have any idea about its value, any help is appreciated

I don't know about its value, Mark, but to me, it's a keeper.
This morning I got a $20 from the ATM, #IK66223355A. It's a keeper for me.

PS. I grew up in RI. GO RAMS!

Hi New here and I have a dumb question...what is a repeater? In other words, what is the criterium to qualigy as a repeater?

I know it sounds silly, but I'm new to all this and don't fully grasp it all yet.

    Help is appreciated lol

it has to have a serial number that repeats itself, like 12341234 or 00010001 ,

You could even call it a binary repeater. Definitely a keeper. Probably not much premium though. Jump onto ebay and take a look at completed listings to get an idea.

    thanks rick

and moonshine thanks for the info, i planned on keeping it no matter how much it was worth

and does Binary mean that the 2 sets of 4 are the same? like 1234 1234?

Binary since it consists of only 2 numbers.

a binary repeater. Yep a keeper. Depending upon condition, you could sell for a few bucks on ebay (not that you'd want to)

i was looking and it was like 10 for one that is slabbed, but i dont think that my numbers are that desirable

Your "8" + "0" repeater would be desirable than say a "2" + "0" because "8" is considered lucky in some cultures.

The SN: H 08000800 A is appealing to me because I collect small-size St. Louis FRNs and the "8" could be said to be representative of the Federal Reserve district number for St. Louis, "8", for which this happens to be a note from that particular district.

Mark: I sent you a PM.

oh i see, thanks guys, it appeals to St Louis Collectors, Dollar Collectors, Repeater Collectors, and people who have 8 as a lucky number, If it was less circulated i would slab it but i dont have that kind of money

It is probably VF, due to being so circulated, and it has a corner fold, but not too big
