I like the 40% Ikes. How much did you get it for? A month or two back I bought 10 or so in the blue envelope just like yourts from the local dealer. I got them for $8 apiece. Not too bad considering they are worth $9.50+ just in melt value.

Yeah I like them too! Didn't have one in my collection so figured it was a good time to pop on one. Got it for 12 bucks. They have went up in price over the past couple of months or so. The 8 dollar price was a great deal for you considering they go from anywhere from 12-15 now!

I like the Ikes, too! I have 18 of the Blue Ikes, 71-74, and 20 of the Brown Ikes, 71-74, a complete Dansco and another 2 dozen or so in mint & proof sets. The Blue Ikes cost me $4 each and the Brown Ikes cost me $5 each.

I don't think so. I bought mine when silver was about $6 oz.

I really like Ikes. I think its an underrated coin! The silver ones always look so nice too. Nice pickup! $12 is a fair price!

Ok good! I thought it was a fair price! You really have to search hard to find fair prices. People will ask 50 bucks for a coin that's worth about 35 for example.

Oh yeah, no doubt. I can't even tell you how much I use the 'completed listings' feature on ebay. It is a good tool to see what the range of prices are. It has saved me a lot of money. I always want everything NOW! But patience is truly a virtue in the coin game.

Yeah patience is key! About the best deals I've got is I got a roll of Franklin Halves for $173.00 back in the fall. And also a roll of Kennedy 64's for $180.00 a couple of months back. Not bad!! And they were all in decent shape.
