Hey Cookie thanks for the P.M. Nice try on this one but your answer is incorrect! Once this one Is over you will have another try on one of the other notes i have in mind
Dean, the Mint doesn't print paper money so the note isn't going to be Mint State anything. Paper money has a similar but different numerical grading system. Check these out for example: PCGS Currency Grading Scale PMG Notes Grading Scale
In order to give everybody an opportunity to grade this note out i,am going to leave this Up until Thursday regardless if we have a winner or not, I,am noticing in some of the Answers people are just giving a general grade such as XF but in order to win you need To be more specific, here are the breakdown,s in each grade so if you would like to Change your grade guess i will give everybody an opportunity to do so. also if your happy With your current guess just send me another PM saying i,am good to go! Cool. Thanks Rusty. I'm a bit surprised I got the grade spot on. I was fairly sure it wasn't a PPQ, but one could have given it a guess and had a 50-50 chance there I suppose. Thanks all for the the congrats too.
Sorry gang, I've been away and busy with some other things for the last couple days... I wanted to thank Rusty for the prize notes he sent me. They arrived yesterday (2/22) safe and sound. Thank you very much. So here they are, both Series 661 $1 and .05¢: Also, if by any chance you are familiar with Washington state's natural settings or significant mountain peaks in the US, that's Mount Rainer with Mirror Lake in the foreground on the back of the $1 note.
