1855 Penny and color

    I'm not familiar with this coin. It was in a 'lot' I bought. The color looks strange to me, and the photo is accurate to it's true color. Thanks for any insight on this coin.

    it looks like trade coins that i have seen. especially because of the portraite quality and the last 5 in the date but i am probably wrong
