I can't decide if this is MD, DD or a mix of both!? HELP What throws me off is the splits on some of the letters, like the TED in UNITED and the TAT in states. [IMG]

Only 2 DDR's listed on coppercoins and this is neither of them:

I had sent a similar one like yours to Wexler and it came back as MD. I saw both DD and MD in mine and the same with yours, maybe you'll get lucky with it...

Unless it's a new die variety I am thinking it's MD...Now you can send it in to James Wiles and it will cost you $5 and whatever it would cost to ship it to verify the coin and get a straight answer.

Sorry guys I'm new to this but what is the difference between MD and DD? I think DD means double die but what does MD mean? Thanks

    dd - doubled die
    md - mechanical doubling

Thanks for the opinions guys....I agree. My first instinct said MD but those darn splits in the letters had me second guessing.
