Here are some more that arrived today! Filling those holes...I hope to pickup the seated dollars and trade dollar at an upcoming show next week.

Nice pickups, that 1834 Half cent is nice. That 1853 Arrows dime looks like its been cleaned. But the 1854 Half dime is nice, I've recently been trying to purchase one in a nice grade.

Those were the two toughest holes for me to fill. I got the trade dollar not that long ago, and I still haven't found a nice, uncleaned seated dollar that I like after almost 5 years of looking!

p.s. I like all your NEWPS. I liked the barber dime the most.

I actually think the 1854 half dime has been cleaned and not the 1853 dime.

    Nice group of coins.
I particularly like the half cent since that's a set I'm trying to complete.

What can i expect to pay for a decent, uncleaned trade dollar and seated dollar? I am actually thinking about selling my Dansco album of franklins to cover the costs, or some.

All depends on the grade, but when you find one, don't expect it to be cheap.

Now that I look closer at the Half dime, it looks like its been cleaned as well. To be honest with you, both coins look like they have been cleaned. The 1853 dime looks like an old cleaning and it has re-toned. The Half dime was probably much later than the dime. I always found Trade dollars in decent shape and uncleaned to be in between the $100 - $350 range. Once you get up to the better grades, they sky-rocket in price. Seated dollars on the other hand will be a little cheaper.

Very nice additions Gbroke! It will be cool to see photos of the album when it gets closer to completion.

Are you sure about that coinguy?? I've found Seated Dollar type coins to be more expensive than Trade dollar type examples in pretty much any grade.

I think you've got some more great coins there gbroke! Especially like that old copper.

It has been a little while since I looked at prices on these, but Trade Dollars in the VF to XF range are probably $200-250. I think you will probably have a tougher time with the Seated Dollars in that grade - I would guess $400-500 each and that's if you can find them. Two of the harder coins in the 7070 in my opinion!

You never know though - there are bargains out there sometimes!
