2007 d washington state quarter weight 5.2 grams also is magnetic ??

    Hi All ,

    I was just wondering if anyone could help me . I have a 2007 d washington state quarter . It's perfect in every way . But the weight is off and It also will stick to a magnet ?? Anyone ?? Thanks

    Look carefully on both sides of the coin for a seam just inside the rim. There are certain novelty magic coins made using the same techniques as for the two headed coins. On side hollowed out and the other side cut down so it fits inside. On this type a steel slug is inside under the insert. This allows the coin to be made to "disappear" when something passes over it.     Upon further inspection the coin is fully in tact .

    Sounds like a magicians coin. Does it have a rotated reverse?
