    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Another good thing about learning Jefferson nickels is that they comprise two different metal types. If you learn silver and nickel, really there's only gold and copper left. Since each material has a slightly different set of rules when it comes to luster, toning, grading, and what it does to dies over time, by having Jefferson nickels be the first choice you've essentially mastered half of the type coins of the US.

    Clad Roosies or Susie B's

I collect Roosies from circulation and exchange them if I get a better one. I sometimes find an MS dime in my change (2009, 2010 esp)

SBAs are a good challenge too, only 4 years

I'd follow Lehighs advice and throw in Lincolns cents .
