Your link won't work unless someone is willing to open a Rapid Share account. I suggest you post your picture on a site like Photobucket and then post the link to your picture there.

I have no idea of the value. But please do not post it in other sections of the fourm. 1 post is enough. Somebody will be along who can probably help you.

Yes, on the obverse is the Imperatritsa Anna and on the reverse the day of the crowning.

Yeah that reverse coronation depiction threw me there . Without any real research being done, I would suggest the value may be somewhere between $500-$1000. oo but I don't have any factual records to reference that upon. I have some older auction catalogs , I'll go through and see if i can't get something more substantiating .

Autor of this Medalion is S. Judin. It's writed on obverse.

Samuel (Samoila) Judin (Yudin, Juditsch) was a Russian medallist of the second half of the eighteenth century. He was born in 1730 in St. Petersburg where he entered the School of Engraving. Both Judin and Ivanov were considered to be official Medallists. Durand (in Forrer) states that Judin’s medal on the Battle of Poltava has placed him in the front rank of medallists.

I am familiar with some of the Ivanov works . The medal has both historical as well as Numismatic significance . Have you even tried to obtain an appraisal ? Many times a good source of information can be had by visiting your local Museum's Curator . Also , a call to the ANA may be helpful as well. I haven't been able to locate any recent online auction information related to it. And I haven't started going through my personal reference sources as yet. This medal you have , being a Coronation medallion would make this quite rare by any standard . If I find any solid information, I'll be sure to let you know. Just finding the last auction info is a task , it seems.

No, I have never tried to obtain an appraisal. What is the ANA, I don't know :( and how to call them?
I have contacted with Yale University, this University has a big collections, they have one medallion by Ivanov on this link you can see it:
    http://www.library.yale.edu/slavic/coins/html/medals/2001.87.344.html#ob

and secend is by S. Judin, here
    http://www.library.yale.edu/slavic/coins/html/medals/2001.87.347.html#ob

I asked if they some interest have in this medallion, when they want to buy it, I don't know what price must I say.
I like your Idea to obtain an appraisal, but how to call ANA? I live in small city and here isn't Museums.
