I bought a usb microscope last November for $31 free shipping on eBay. I had trouble with the software running on my Win 7. However after downloading new webcam applications, it works like a charm. Now I can actually see if there are any errors. I have found a couple already. It's better than using my lamp or a loupe as my vision has declined in recent years. My only regret is that I did not get this type of device sooner. gary
I have one identical to it purchased a couple of years ago for more. Disappointed by the software, but worked Ok with corel Photo pro X2. Lighting is a problem due to the limited depth of focus. It didn't allow photos of the whole coin, except for just the smallest ones. It was fun to play with though. Haven't used it since. Jim

Hey, that's the one I bought. I set it far away from the coin and got the whole thing. The camera works great. But the problem I have is with my Win 7 and the webcam software that came with it. Also, I don't have a good photoshop program installed. My colors aren't very good, but details are great ! Well worth the money. IMHO gary
