lincoln 1972 D with date problem

    found in pocket change. I am not sure if this is a double 7 or something else. Does anyon have any idea whats going on here. 1972 pen.jpg

    I appologize for not giving sufficient information. The 7 on the 1972d dime is not lower than the other numbers. All of the numbers of the date are the same height including the extra on the wide area of the 7.
