if you're buying Numismatic coins, than that's obviously the best place to get them, but if you're buying silver bullion coins, than you might get better prices from apmex.
Please Don't! Save your money, buy a few books, and hang around here until the end of the school year. Then buy your coins and I promise you will make out better. If your really have the itch right now, try roll searching.
I emphatically agree with Lehigh! Invest in books and time here. Roll search. That's exactly how I started and was able to put together a pretty decent collection at face value. Every impulse buy I made has been a bad deal because I bought without knowing what I was getting. It took a good year of solid studying before I understood what was a good buy and what to stay away from.
books are provided for me because they are free and we dont buy anything. I am tired of roll searxhing because my stupid bank has crappy clear plastic rolls and the coins suck. Literary, NOTHING GOOD AT ALL. Best Ive found is 1959 penny in poor condition, that is because they only have penny rolls.
