i've been offered a beautiful gothic crown from the same person for £2000 but i will have to try and knock him down a few quid first.

perhaps second only to the una and the lion coin in realms of beauty, i have a quite battered one but the new one appears really attractive.

Wow, with the Maundy coins and all. Nice set moneyer12! I am impressed.

As far as Gothic Victorian crowns go, they are some of my favorite British coins, the nicest one I have is from 1876, very beautiful coins.

I also think the reverse design of the Edward VII Florin is one of the most beautiful British coin designs.... I'd love to see some shots of the reverse of your proof set moneyer, if you have a chance.

It is probably a spendid set but I cannot see it very well in the photo. Just send it to me & I'l take a nice photograph of it.

Seriously, I can't make-out the coins. Is that the penny in the upper left?

it is a UK set and the upper left is a soveriegn and the upper right is a half soveriegn, the set is a silver and gold set with the maunday set and the silver from 6 pence to crown plus the two gold.

Of course I meant penny & not "cent". Now I understand what is in the photo. There is no Farthing, Half Penny or Penny depicted.
