Rare coin.

I got a rare coin today. It's a one penny 1936, territory of New Guinea. It's the one from 12 coins with initials of Edward VIII (1936).

nice coin, it is one of several edward VIII coins which were issued for circulation the others being from, british west africa, british east africa and fiji. the whole set is worth aroung £15 in uncirculated codition.

 

I got it for 7$ + 1.5$ for shipping!

Very cool coin, I really like the traditional style designs under the crown on the one side, and around the center hole.
I always wanted to get one with Edward VIII's titles on it, but never got around to it. Nice addition to your grand collection Siberian Man.

Seems like a nice, relatively low mintage coin, but there is UNC one on eBay right now as BIN for $14 including international shipping.
