    hamman88 Spare some change, sir?

You could get a MS63 or 64 slabbed Morgan on eBay within your budget too.

I'm your age, John Doe (turned 13 on January 8th). With the money that I got plus what I have accumulated in the past three months, about $300, I bought a nice certified Morgan and a bunch of other nice slabbed stuff. Just buy what you like!

    Happy Birthday!

Happy B-Day John Doe. For $500, you can buy what ever you wish. But if I were you, I'd buy maybe a nice slabbed coin or a scarce date Wheat cent, such as the 1914-D or 1931-S. But its all up to you.

A graded MS indian would be nice - I would check with Charmy(the penny lady) to see what she would have that would fit your budget. An lehigh's suggest of a MS67 Jeff nickel is also good - just never really priced those. I also think you should save some - it will help in the long run to learn to save. Happy birthday!

  7. Happy Birthday! I will suggest an ASE proof from your birth year (1998). TC

WTH???? I didn't even know what $500 looked like when I was 13 geezzzz

I'd say definitely don't spend all of that...I wouldn't even say spend most. Save most for things that will come up in the next few years that are probably more important than the coins at the time...like a car, or college lol believe me...If I could go back in time and save some of the money I blew as a kid I would haha

But definitely spend some on a good coin or two...or a few lol I'd say go after a good grade Semi-key date Indian Head, and maybe even check out a decent Flying Eagle cent
