WOW...Pounds, Dinars, and Pesos, all colorfull, interseting notes. I love seeing posts like these, otherwise I wouldn't ever see world notes. My latest is an upgrade of an Emergency note; This is my first L-C block note being upgraded;
$20 Star found Here is a 20 I found sifting through some $20 bundles from the bank. I found this one note in $20,000 dollars of 20 dollar bills. I also found 2 fairly low serial number bills.
It's always nice to find star notes in circulation....but this is definetly a SPENDER. (print run of 3,200,000)
Rusty, that MPC is a knockout ,purple back is beautiful/the engraving is also excellent not to mention the grade,your collection is outrageous .
Very nice notes Clay and Rusty. The 1969C Minneapolis Star Is getting to be a tough find, and Rusty scores another SuperGem MPC. Congrats guys.
While they are not notes, I did finally pay off my newest collection additions. 1932 D and 1932 S Washington quarters. Thought I'd share anyway!
My latest arrived today. It's a series 2006 $10 FRN courtesy autographed by the BEP engraver that engraved the back design on all $10's from the series 2004A (colorized) thru current. Below the note is his business card.
This note arrived today. My friend Bert (grimreaper) found a young lass named Iguana Girl from the Where's George website that was about to spend it, unless someone wanted it at FACE VALUE. I contacted her, and sent some cash in a birthday card along with a stamp, and now it's mine. Those of you that know me, know that I like the serial #12...in any form.
That's really nice Steve, you don't (or *I* don't) hear who the engravers are on modern notes very often. I'm not sure he wants his email address and phone number blasted out on the internet though... Dave
I agree Dave.....and if I could do it all over again, or edit that imformation out now, I certainly would.
