The Swiss coins of that style are quite beautiful. I have quite a few, including a rare 1901 1/2 Franc with a mintage of 200,000. A 1941 1/2 Franc with a mintage also of 200,000. Pretty low.
And a pretty nice 1907 Franc, mintage: 800,000... I also have several from the 50's and early 60's that are BU.

I especially like the design of the Swiss AU 10 and 20 Francs, with the beautiful girl on the obverse.... I don't have any of those though, I have very few Gold coins in my collection.

I sold all my rare Swiss francs. Got about $1k for the lot... particularly because of one very rare 2 franc. 1921, IIRC... it was nice and mint.

    I'll replace them someday.

Here is your coin on a background. I tried to get the picture quality better for you, but no luck:

thank you alex, that looks so professional,
and i love the Victory Nickels because they are the only nickels that i have that still have that fresh from the mint shine,

it must be because it is made out of steel instead of nickel, am i correct?

Do you mean the 5 Rappen coin with the woman's bust on the obverse and a wreath with grapes with just the numeral '5' inside on the reverse?

I always liked the wreath on the reverse of the Swiss 5 Rappen. Fun coins.

Nice job coinmaster1, the backround helps alot.

Mark14, it is made out of Chrome Plated Steel.

yes the rappen, i have the 10 and 20 rappen, then the 2 franc and 5 franc, so i guess that im missing the 5 rappen, the one franc and the half franc

Well 5 Rappen coins, depending on the date, can be pretty easily and inexpensively found. The coin shop I go to has dozens in their 25cent bin... I even found some Swiss 20 Rappen from the late 1800s in there.

There are some beautiful Swiss Proof sets from the 1970s and 1980s that have the same design coins, and are quite nice. You can sometimes find them for a good price on ebay.
