I kept looking for it on the website and then realized that this thread originated 1/27/10, not this year. I was so disappointed...

    Disappointed???

Search google for "Fractional Shield" and you will see a number of different examples.

If your willing to pay the price ,as Darryl said you will not have a hard time finding one. The one's that aren't water damaged are expensive. 3 sold at the Fun Show recently but does anyone who attended know what price they realized (Duke Help )!!!!!

    Thanks Krispy,
Wow.....That Green Background went for 20K !!!! I expected around 4K on the Grays .I'm going to sit back awhile till things fall before I would even consider a shield.

Sorry I was away for a bit there. Yea I was siting there and bid for awhile on the grey's but the price's went to high for me :(
    One day I'll get mine.
But for now I'll just enjoy mine all separate and not on a shield.

I brought the thread up because it was relevant to some recent discussions. Some topics are good to revisit when you have learned something that makes you appreciate something you did not know much about the 1st time around. Sorry if you did not realize this was an old thread revisited. That said, for those that missed it the 1st time I hope they appreciate the story of the shields.

Np USS, It was a fun search anyway and I got introduced to a new place that specializes in selling currency, so untimately worth the time spent.
