I was looking at some Chinese silver Pandas on the bay and came across this 1994 Panda that is not the real thing item#230579169669 I checked even further and found out he is a known seller of fake Panda's,Trade dollars and Morgans do not buy from this person. You can see that he made the list for selling fakes on the Chinese coin forum which also shows you the difference from real Pandas to the fakes. RB
I'm not familiar with these... but here's a link to the auction in question: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230579169669
Check out the guy's feedback. 93% - one of the lowest I have ever seen...they usually stop and re-register under a new name at that point. He has sold Morgan replica dollars in the past and his last sale resulted in negative feedback...he probably knows what he is selling. (I'm just sayin')
To be fair, that 93% is because he's had ONE neg in his last fifteen feedbacks. If you aren't a high-volume seller, a single neg is going to knock back your percentage pretty hard.
I am positive all of this guy's Chinese pandas are fake. He is a known seller of many different fake pandas trade dollars and morgans
For future reference, this web page is devoted to identifying fake Pandas: http://www.pandacollector.com/rogue.html Best wishes, Peter Anthony http://www.pandacollector.com
