10 pfennig and 5 pfennig?????

    Hi was just wondering if any body knows if the 10 pfennig and the 5 pfennig are silver and what years the silver ones are

    Not sure which coins you are referring to. The German Empire pieces do not contain any silver, and the ones from today's Germany (Federal Republic) don't have any either ...

    sorry never thought about putting a date lol late 1800 early 1900 do any other pfennigs contain silver?

    Those will be German Empire (Deutsches Reich) coins then. And no, they are Cu-Ni pieces ...
