Bag Marks-high expectations?

    Yes, this is a minor issue, but I am curious as to other coin talker's opinions:

    The Situation: I enjoy collecting the Presidential Dollar series as they come out. However, for some reason unknown to me, my dealer raised his price on the "uncirculated presidential dollars" from $2 a coin to $5 a coin. Frankly, a 2010 Pierce D isn't worth a paper Lincoln, so I tried my hand at Ebay. There it was...one seller (I'm assuming dealer) selling P and D Presidential dollars for $3.95. So, I caught up on the '09 and '10 and eagerly waited. Today I recieved them and bag marks are present...approximately 2 or 3 on each side of the coin (sometimes more, sometime less) They range from small hairlines to the occasional gash.

    The question: return them and pay for the privelage to sit for a good hour digging through the old dealer's dollars, picking out the ones with the best fields and most detailed strikes or simply accept the coins as factory mint issue "uncirculated" dollars, put them in 2X2's and go about my day.

    Opinions welcomed! Thanks.

    Opinion;

    Go to bank, get for face, search out best, keep them. Cash in the rest.

    How did the eBay seller describe the coins? "Uncirculated"? Or "Uncirculated with no bag marks"?

    If he advertised the coins as "Uncirculated" and the coins are indeed uncirculated then I have to say you received what you bargained for. Had the seller described the coins as "no bag marks", MS-64, etc. then you might have a case to complain. I think Merc Crazy gave you some great advice.
