I can't find this vam number on vamworld. It's a 1902-O I see lots of Profile Dubs but not with the 2 "Cud".
First, a matter of terminology. The die break on the "2" is not a cud. A cud is a die break on the rim that extends into the field. When you were searching VAMWorld, did you check the "Sort by Obverse Design" at the top of the 1902-O page? Also, from your photo, I really can't tell if that is a die break on the "2" or a die gouge. When I enlraged it, it just got too blurry for me to tell. Chris Off Topic: Why do these threads have to be 3x-4x wider than the photo? I'm really, really getting tired of scrolling back and forth. There has to be someone on this site who can correct it, and don't tell me to change browsers. This is the only site where I have this problem. Change tech support!
VAM 50 has a die gouge on the 2 listed, but the pictures don't look like your example. The die marker is "Three vertical thread-like impressions on tail feathers between eagle’s legs", see the last picture: 1902-O VAM-50
Looked at that one also but nothing on the tail feathers. The thing is, I got three in a row in the same batch...
Not telling you to change browers because I don't know what you use, but I use Firefox and even with that I used to have this problem all the time, but I haven't had it in probably several months now.
I hadn't either. Just popped up these past few days. The compatability view button in IE8 had worked but now it doesn't anymore.
It's been cold here in Georgia and I for one am ready for this winter to be over. Where ya from jrr888?
There's still patches of snow from the storm 2 weeks ago. Was in the upper teens early this morning with wind. It is cold lol. Nothin like what krispy just got. New York got buried. And good news jallengomez, 60's Saturday! Unfortunately though, looks like winter will be back next week to make sure the party hasn't gotten out of hand.
I hope we hit 60. It's funny, I was following the models and couple of days ago NOGAPS was showing significant winter precip this weekend! It's crazy that so far this winter the UKMET has been the most accurate.
