I just ordered two rolls of 40 nickels from the us mint. One set of fourty from denver and one from philly. Now my question is what should i do with them after that? I have anough 2x2's to put them all in but would it be better to keep them in the rolls? What it i take a couple out and do that? what should i do?

If I were you- I'd keep them in the rolls. 80 coins to put in 2x2s is a lot of coins and they will be protected in the rolls, unles (maybe) the coins on the ends of rolls (maybe a little toning evenutally), but jus put them in a sealed container with some silica-should get rid of that problem. If you take out a few of the coins and then put the rolls back wherever you store them, then there's a chance that the coins could move around in the rolls and get a few contact marks, but like most everything-there's a way to fix that.
NOW-if later on you hear about this awesome and ultra-rare type of 2006 nickel that was sold in the rolls worth millions of dollars.....then I'd inspect. But otherwise I'd keep them in the rolls. I'm sure others here have many coins by the roll that have much more experience on the subject than me-

I keep the rolls and buy two of each mintmark from my local coin dealer to put in 2x2's.

I store the rolls in the original white Mint shipping boxes/trays AFTER I cut nickel sized plugs of good quality cardboard or paper and wedge them into the ends of each roll.
