Let me know any info about it. One of them has some stripes on it, the other is almost plain and soft, and the last one is 1966 very red color. Thanks

    My Take
80-"Woody" caused by improper mixing of the copper
66-House Coin, used in a coin operated machine, Died or painted red to be easily identified by the persone removing the coins from the
hopper so it could be returned to the house.
the other-Definetly not a blank planchet, I can see a hazy outline of Abe. I can't imagine a coin being that worn so I'm leaning towards capped die or maybe die adjustment.

I'm sure there will be other opinions coming along soon.

#3- Oxidized. I have a collection of red and also black cents. Most are from the earlier years but I do have one or two from the 1980's.

Why Are Some Cents Black or Red?
