I put this kit together because I didn't have a good way to transport coins I find at work. I used a case for a deck of cards, and put a microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloth (to fold coins into), a cotton glove, and key date cheat sheets (cent, dime, and nickel) in it. I'm considering putting in a small magnet and a silver dollar 2X2 in as-well. Everything folds up nicely and fit's in a pocket. What do you guys think?
I like it! If I had a job where I came in contact with large numbers of coins every day, I'd stick one of these set-ups in my glove compartment in my car. Looks great, very compact. I'd even throw in a small loupe if it fits.
Very Cool! When I run across wheaties, or silver coins @ work, I toss them in my shirt pocket until I get home! Steve
I was doing that but was worried about the coins damaging each other. Since I found a MS65 1939D Jefferson at work before.
I agree. Cool idea. I will start looking for something like this. I keep a loop in the car, but that is about it. It is a handy place and I have used it a number of times.
Kit looks good but I wanted to ask what the magnet is for? Aren't most coins made of non magnetic metals?
