If you start a new post and include clear pictures of your dimes, there will be several people who will be glad to help you identify them :smile

    Top coin is genuine.
It is a "struck" (not cast) coin produced at Guangzhou during the years 1890-1895 of the Guang Xu reign of Emperor De Zong of China.
    Very common.

Bottom coin is a Chinese cash coin cast in Yunnan Province (Board of Revenue) during the years 1797-1818 of the Jia Qing reign of Emperor Ren Zong.
    Very common.

You are right. I originally referenced a web site which listed the coin as Japanese, but I see now that my Japanese coin guide lists it as a coin that was imported into Japan in 1736.

That's the first time I've seen a struck cash coin, but you are right again, it does appear to be genuine, when compared to the coin shown in the middle top of this web page:

I most humbly defer to your knowledge of Chinese cash coins.

What should be the weight and size of the coin? I still have a bunch of other world coins that were mixed in with pennies that I ended up finding. I will try and post some more pictures later.

    Thanks again!
