What is this Coin

    I have no idea at all what this coin is, it has some weight to it but other than that no clue.

    Photos taken at steep angles make it very difficult to see the surfaces of the coin. Can you retake the photos straight-on?

    Just like it says on the coin: "Espana" (Spain) 5 peseta, 1991.

    Haha wow didn't even see that thanks for the help, guess I cant read english anymore. Any idea what the value is, have a few more that I found from work.

    Some 1992s now listed on eBay for start bids at .99¢, no bids yet.

    I'm not surprised there are no bids, considering that when Spain switched to the Euro that coin was worth 1/33 of a Euro, or approximately 4 cents at today's exchange rate. I have a bunch of those that I would gladly sell for half of the ebay starting bid :yes:

    LOL! Maybe worth their weight in aluminum-bronze... They went to that composition a few years before the Euro.

    According to Krause-Mischler, it contains 3 grams of aluminum-bronze, or approximately 150 to the pound. What's the market price for aluminum-bronze these days?

    LOL! I doubt it's worth enough as scrap to warrant the cost of separating the metals out.

    Well value dosent really matter just thought it was weird since it was heavy for its size
