Looks like machine doubling to me what do you all think? Everything is doubled on the obverse: date, letters of "liberty" & "in God we trust" but no doubling on Rev. as it is listed in the Cherrypickers' Guide for this year & mm. Any ideas of value? Thanx everyone. Oh BTW, found it in a roll of mercs bought from my nearest friendly coin dealer :)

THe doubling is all to the west, and the pic can be zoomed. the second pic is better. Flat of B in liberty, underside of top of T in liberty, top of L in liberty, the 4 in the date is easist to see, the E and U in "In God we trust" is there but is hard to see... will follow up with clearer pics soon...

All I see in the images is a normal dime. A clue to where to look would be helpful and a close up of that area.

I certainly see what you are talking about, but it's still hard to tell from the image even when zoomed in. Can you get a close up of IN GOD WE TRUST?

I notice it, but like jallen says it's very hard to see even in zoom mode... good find none the less!

No the one in the CPG is DDO, and DDR as well. Yours is machine doubling. Look at the 3rd of the most recent photos and look at the 9 compared to the one in CPG. See in the CPG ,how both of the doubled portions are about the same height, and in yours, the one to the side is flattened compared to the normal height one.Same for "In God We Trust".That is a sign of MD, as in a DDO, both hubbings of the working (DDO) die would be same pressure and should be the same depth, so the resulting image on the coin should show both doubles about the same height. Often, you might see a thickened letter or number with a shallow line on the surface marking the separation.
