I have a chance to buy some 1954 Canadian notes in sequential order. Is there a formula for calculating value? Example: if 1 note is worth X amount of dollars in Mint condition then 2 sequential notes are worth double that plus a percentage and 3 are worth triple that plus a percentage and so on. Thanks to anyone that can help. Also what percentage of the Charlton bookprice are notes worth? My own research indicates notes are selling for 50-75% of book.Is this accurate?
Are the notes Devil's Head or modified? What condition (grade) are the notes in? Are there special serial numbers (eg. radars, repeaters, etc.)? Are there errors? What denomination are the notes? Common circulated '54's (modified) go for just above face value. Condition is a very important factor in determining the value of paper bank notes. Is it possible for you to scan the notes and post them here?
