Buffalo nickel no year??

    I found this today in a pocket change but i dont see any date or year? Any info about it? Its a normal one? Etc

    thats a nice find for pocket change , but it is only a normal buffalo nickel worn down to the point where you cant read the date

    If you want to reveal the date, you can toss it in vinegar for a couple weeks til it starts to show... change out the vinegar when it turns blue.

    Note that this will pretty much make the coin "damaged" and unoriginal, though... dateless buffs aren't worth much, so it's not like it's a big deal.

    That's a neat find for pocket change yanyos, but like Jon says it's just a worn off date. I've actually found a couple of old Buffalos in pocket change in the last few years. I don't think they had a visible date either. Good find.
