What are the key dates for all canadian coinage? like years that were low mintage or silver or precious metals? because i couldnt find anything with the minimal resources that i have - Mark
Try using the J & M Coins site as a reference: www.jandm.com It has dates, mintage numbers, metals etc. If you need more than that get a Charlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins. $20 and worth every cent of it.
You are welcome! One of the best things about the J & M site is if there is a variety noted in the date column there will be a picture of it at the top of the page. Sorting through the various dates and denominations looking for keys and varieties can be tedious but J & M have made it much simpler. Good luck!
Interesting. What denomination? One thing you need to understand is J & M is a retail dealer site. The values listed are retail (what you would pay if you were buying the coin) cost. Were you to sell the 1955 you might get that amount on e-bay if it is in demand, but probably would not selling to a dealer.
