Took a shot at some of the grades of the rarer ones. 1916 S, 1 in VG08 1917, 1 1917 S, 1 in G04 1920, 4 1920 S, 2 1923, 5 1923 S, 1 1925, 5 1925 S, 2, both G04 1925 D, 1 in G04 1926, 5 1926 S, 1 in G04 1927, 7 1927 D, 1 1928, 2 1928 S, 1 1929, 6 1929 S, 1 1930, 2 1930 S, 2 (1 in F12) 1934, 5 1935 S, 2 1936, 9 (1 in F12) 1936 D, 2 1936 S, 1 1937, 2, Both F12 23 with unreadable dates, with no mint. 2 with unreadable dates, San Fran mint. 1 with unreadable date, Denver mint. What would you value this lot at?
26-s I think from looking off of ebay will probably go for around $20...I saw a couple VG with a price of $25 many on this forum will say Redbook marks their prices up..so I will give you roughly 20% less than what it says..so going from 2010 R/B 1916-s $8.00 1917-s $15.00 1923-s $5.00 1925-s - $3.00 1925-d $7.00 Take the no dates and placed in vingear for a couple of weeks
Here's the 1926-S. Again, it's not in great shape. I had to struggle a little to make out the date and mint mark, but it's definently there. Its poor condition is probably why it slipped past the seller and into a random mix in the first place.
Mid-50s. I didnt have any Buffalos and was kinda anxious to start a collection and thought it would be fun to sort through these (and it was a blast!)
If you want to try putting the 's' and 'd' dateless buffs in vinegar for about two weeks ,it might bring the dates out on them. I did this with some dateless buffs and got a 1913 d variety 2! Infact there is a thread on here where I posted a pic, enjoy your collection.
