    These are both Swiss Shooting (Schutzenfest) Medals and it's incredible how much they have in common.....

    Left medal:
    1909 Zurich (Winterthur)
    R-1801b 23mm Silver
    Hans Frei
    Very Rare! (RR) 78 minted
    NGC MS62

    Right medal:
    1909 Thurgau (Frauenfeld)
    R-1277 28mm Silver
    Hans Frei
    Very Rare! (RR) 80 minted
    NGC MS61

    Huguenin
    1000 minted
    NGC MS62

    Right medal:
    1909 Basel
    R-132c 29mm Silver
    Hans Frei
    Mintage unknown
    NGC MS63



    I have searched high and low for the R-132c for years and finally found one. And I have never seen another R-1789a offered for sale. But I keep looking! :D

    Hiho, are these written about somewhere in a book? How do you know what other ones you search for? I'm also curious about the lion (?) on three of them and the creature on the fourth coin. Thank you for posting the photos. An awesome display! Lucy
