Sorry about the Pictures, they are terrible, What it looks like is possible a Flip, or Heavy die strike, The coin wasnt Hamered.oad two squessed together. Maybe die Clash. Well what i need to due is get better pictures. What would be thebest way that you have found in taking pictures to get fine detail to post them on here?? Can you make some recomandations. You will probably need a good camera with a macro/super macro setting or a micrcscope with a camera attachment to get decent photos. I've never used a scanner, so I don't know if it will work. In any event, once you take the photos, you need to crop the image to remove all of the unnecessary background and then enlarge the image. Here is an example of a Clashed "Y" between the 2nd & 3rd columns (from the left) of the Memorial. Chris
