I think the HA web site has crashed big time

I was tracking a few pieces of curency on their Tuesday Auction to see what the prices/strategy was for some of them

As the time approached 8pm Pacific (10 PM Central) the refresh cycles got longer and response got progressively slower

At 7:55 pm, the site went of the grid (could not connect)

An hour later theyare still down.

Does this happen often? I thought HA had a fairly stable server and the auction was not all that big (less than 500 items)

You're right......can't connect at all.

 

My favorite coin website is down. I am already having withdrawal symptoms.

 

In specific answer to your question, this is only the second time I have found it down in 4+ years.

So will they re-do auctions or acept the last bids? (Not sure it matters, but might as well get some viepoints here)

None of the images are appearing, looks like they are still having some technical difficulties.

 

website now says auctions will be extended for 24 hours

 

Heritage had some issues last night and the Tuesday Currency, Coin and other auctions have been extended. They are stills suffering some issues... I mentioned in a thread somewhere in the forum in my link that Heritage has been implementing some new things and they are having problems (especially with Legacy Client members billing and proxy bids, since we can bid later then 'normal' members.).

 

I am a Legacy Client and they had no problems billing me.
