Both are very nice, are they from obw rolls?

    OBW?

    I don't know this acronym.

I don't think either are mint set.

    The '85-D is very nice.

I think OBW is short for 'original bank wrap'.

Both found in plain-old, modern, mixed coin bank rolls. Thanks Brinks! :D

I've pulled quite a few nice lil' 80's MS cents from boxes in my time searching too... It's not a bad hobby (searching boxes). You generally get 20% copper to throw back, and some really neat easy to find varieties (wams, dd's, etc...), and then these to boot !

NICE finds btw,,, and only $.01 per coin !!

I save AU coins to re-search for something new in varieties or to give to a new collector starting out.

Is the 85-D also an RPM? That would make it a "doubly" nice find!

Nah, just some typical split plating. You'll have to come back to the house sometime and I'll show you my Memorial binder Ken.
