I used the small Priority Mail box which fit 100 really well and would fit 150 for sure. I put them 20 at a time in one of those bank envelopes they give you money in. I then taped them tightly in that paper envelope, put all the wrapped envelopes in the box (fits perfectly) and took up the rest of the volume with rolled up paper towels. 100 took up 2/3 of the volume of the small box and shipping is $5.20 - flat rate.

How many did you sell for the $200 price?

I put a waterbottle in my flat rate, with the lid on....it takes a lot of space. Just one caution, tape the heck out of it. I sold some Ikes a while back and didn't tape it well and the small flat rate box broke open and only half of the Ikes got to the buyer.....what could I do....I refunded him the money and took it as a lessons learned.

I recently sold 90 Ikes, all in good shape. They were circulated, of course, and I provided a pic and called them circulated. The buyer gave me a neutral and put that the coins were in pretty bad shape. Ticked me off. I had only positives up to this point.....but there is nothing I can do. Those coins were actually some of the better Ikes I've had. GRRRRRRRRRR

    150. There's about 20 MS bicentennials in there, along with a few other low-MS Ikes, so I best not get a negative.

That's one thing that really bothers me about Ebay, they give the seller no recourse to a negative or neutral rating, even if it was totally wrong. Shoot, I use the ebay app on my ipod and there have been times I've almost clicked and finalized a negative review when I meant to say positive.

Does anyone know of a particular bank, (i.e. BoA, Chase), that can still order Ike's? None of the banks in my area able to order or request any and it is quite frustrating.

Got a call this morning from one of my supply banks. They told me they can no longer order halfs for me and wouldn't give me a reason why. Oh well, they can eat my $5k in dumps every week

So I just came from the bank. 2 boxes of dimes and 1 box of nickels I have say "N.F. String & Sons" on the bottom. The nickels look like a healthy mix, but the dimes...every one showing is a 2000. Good or bad? Anyone have experience with their boxes?

As I understand it, String and Sons is simply a manufacturer of the rolls and boxes. IMHO it's good because you know you're not doing Brinks rolls, which stink!

lol Well that's what I get for not doing my homework. They just seem odd to all be 2000s showing. I'll give em a whirl though.
Edit: They're actually uncirculated rolls of 2010 D. Was just hard to see past the paper on the rolls.

when they first came out, I had luck selling rolls of 2010 dimes for a $1.00 premium to a local dealer...you could try that or ebay if you want. I sold a couple on ebay as well...

Went to my bag bank today and picked up some stuff...

$300 or so in dimes; 2 silver roosies... still a bit to search through, no more than $30 or so though.

$95 in nickels; 3 war nickels and about half a roll of pre-60's. Still about $30 to go through.

$110 in halves; Nothing. First time I've ever been skunked by halves off that machine. Did pick up a 40%'er at my dump bank.

Amen to that. Anytime I buy or sell coins on Craigslist I meet the individual at McDonalds.
