I have collected coins I have found for a few years now but never been very serious in the coin collecting. I am starting to get more involved and want to check out a good coin show. I live in Aurora, CO. Does any one know of a good show coming up in my area? I look at the ones at the gun shows but there are not too many coin tables there. Thanks!

errrrr I lived in Aurora back in the 80's and early 90's! To answer your question, my wife threw a news paper add about a big coin show happening either now or soon last week? I dismissed it cause I would of shown no restraint and put us in the poor house inside of 30 minutes If I went!!! I'll ask her, as soon as she comes down stairs to ask why I'm not in bed yet? LOL

I just moved away from Aurora, there is a good show in Aurora I went to regularly. Google "Aurora Coin Show" and "Crowne Plaza". I remember they have one every January! And, they usually have an ANACS rep there. I used to drop my coins off there for 'economy service' and then drive over to Englewood when they were ready. I'd much rather drive 20 minutes than deal with paying for shipping/insurance.

We have a coin show in Colorado Springs every year the weekend between Session I and Session II of ANA Summer Seminar. I don't know where it will be held this year; the building it has been held in the last several years was sold and converted into a mega-church.

Admission is free. I am a dealer and will be setting up there, then I have a few friends who will be setting up there too. This is a good Colorado show to start out on.

Is there anything after the 29th? I have to be at the motorcycle swapmeet that weekend.

May 13th-15th, the Denver Coin Expo at the National Western Complex off I70 and Brighton Blvd. This is my favorite show of the year for Colorado, there is probably about 100+ dealers that set up at it. Then there are some smaller shows in Golden at the Jefferson fair grounds, then longmont has a show everyonce in while, and there are show in Ft. Collins.
