After a few thousand pennies i've come up with these, i hope to add more to this thread soon. hope i could get some info or value of these. (i've read up on MD but these i could not tell) thanks!
I'm not replying to any of your posts (Save for this reply, of course) unless you stop putting those stupid ++ around your thread title.
To find your threads, you can click on your name, then on the left choose: "threads I have started". As for your post, I'm sorry but I cannot comment, because I am not sure of the difference between Machine, mechanical, or doubled dies. Someone will though! Nice eye on finding those though!
Just looks like RPM's to me. Or maybe some MD thrown in there too. www.coppercoins.com Go there ^^ and do a die variety search for whatever year you want to see.
thanks gbroke and lincolncent.. i've been to coppercoins and lincolncentresource to compare pics and some look very close but when it comes down to it, i just dont have the knowledge to distinguish an actual doubling and when it slides and leaves a 'ghost' mint mark behind.
All your 1943's look like the 1943D-1MM-004 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1943&die_id=1943d1mm004&die_state=eds
The 44-D looks like RPM-005. ++Nice finds!++ Since I haven't spoken to you before, welcome to CT! Put whatever you want in your titles.
Too hard to tell with those pics. Could be a number of them. None valuable unfortunately. http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php Thats a list of the 44D's with pics. You figure it out from what you can see (which is a lot more than me lol)
I don't really have much to add other than 'really nice finds'. I would otherwise keep that thought to myself but was pushed to reach out by the first comment in the thread.
ha well thanks guys i appreciate your input. i try to research my coins as much as i can before i post here so i don't clutter up the place. and i dont want to eventually sell something and it turn out not to be real when all i had to do was come here first. thanks again
