Meh, I guess it'll do as a placeholder. Sometimes you just have to settle. :)

(I don't suppose you'd be willing to post a REALLY big shot of that obverse...?)

    Ol' green slab too...
I wonder if that would re-grade higher at today's PCGS or NCG?
    Just think... MS-66 FH!

Jeff , all I have are the Heratige pics . I 'm trying to learn to take decent pics and haven't got the hang of it yet , just bought a table stand
for my point and shoot Sony DSC-H50 hoping that'll do it .

About $920 with buyers premium included , 2 years ago you couldn't touch one for under $1,450 .

That's... that's... astounding. I've never spent anything close to that on a coin that wasn't mostly bullion, but for a coin this stunning, I'd call it a steal.

Thanks , it's one of my favorites that I always wanted since I was young , it's my Dads birth year
and has a almost naked lady , what's not to like . LOL Really it's one of our most beatiful coins and 1917 -P Type 1 s are by far the best struck coin in the whole series .

That is a very attractive coin with sharp details which is common for the 1917 SLQ's There are a bunch of very minor marks that would prohibit an upgrade IMO. I like it very much.

It's the iPhone app that formats forums in a nice way for reading on your mobile device. A lot nicer than viewing them thru the web browser on a mobile device.

I'm lost when I view the web page as I do about 97% of my forum viewing on my iPhone thru Tapatalk. Check it out if you have a iPhone, touch, or droid.

The Type 1 SLQ is my favorite U.S. Coin, I have one (But mine is only F-15 to VF-20 at best.)
