At first glance, it reminded me of my nephew's old pog collection! LOL!

That's a great collection! I've spent an evening looking at a bunch for sale on ebay and was amazed at how much some of the earlier ones were selling for. Of course, those are the ones I liked the most, probably because they were familiar and I was connecting them to old movies and paperback books.

I only have one. I won it in Chip's contest recently. It's a 1981 $1 from the "Landmark" Casino.

Thanks for posting, it's really interesting to see a whole collection of them!

Very cool, looks like a great collection!
Btw, what's the one in the last picture, in the middle of the last row (in the big, white holder)? That one really caught my eye.

Just curious; what's the combined casino 'face value' of 296 casino chips?

Yes, one! It's in Photo #1, 2nd row from the top, 2nd chip from the left. It's an obsolete house chip that I got in 1996. I had two, but I sold one for $25.

Right off the top of my head.......about $2100, but I've excluded 11 fantasy chips and the 7 gaming tokens from a Spanish casino (25 pesetas, 50 pesetas & 100 pesetas). This also doesn't take into account that some of these chips were purchased after the casinos closed, like the Lone Star Casino, the Pioneer Club and the Comstock.

I also have 56 - $10 gaming tokens from Slots-A-Fun and the Stardust which I won in slot machines that pay nothing but gaming tokens.

I forgot about those. The one with the large white accent ring (an oversized AirTite) is a Millennium 2000 $10 gaming token from the Riviera, and the one to it's left is another $10 gaming token from the Riv. It's a hologram of my Zodiac sign - Virgo. It has a naked woman in it. Of all things, my Mom gave it to me on my birthday one year.

I don't care what some eggheaded scientist who hasn't had a shave since the straightrazor went out of style for the masses and lets the hair on the side of his head grow overly long so he can part it just above his ear because he's bald across the top. Virgos don't get along with Leos and that's why I'm divorced!
