I recently purchased a few rolls of steel cents just to add to my collection. I found this one 1943-D that looks like a 1943-D/D, but I don't have much experience with this coin. minor variety the 1 to look for the first D is Southwest of the major D. See Cherrypickers Guid to Rare Die Varieties
