I will get pictures tomorrow if the weather is good. I don't like using artificial light sources especially for MS coins so hopefully it's cloudy tomorrow and I can get some good shots. I'd love to see your 1898 half.
Alright it's perfect weather out for pictures right now! Click them all for larger pictures. I have some more so if you want to see even more pictures lemme know. I'm going hunting today for more so I'll see what I can find. Actually let me know if these bring you to a larger image and not just a smaller one
newfoundland very very nice collection. are you from newfoundland originally? what years in the 50 cent nl collection are youi missing? i can keep my eyes open for you. is there a minimum grade your looking for?
Actually I'm not, just from BC, I got into NFLD after I realized I would probably never complete the Canadian collection in good grades during my lifetime. I randomly made an impulse purchase on an 1880 20 cent piece and I was hooked from there. I'm looking for all the Victoria Halves in EF40 and the rest in about MS60+. I have 1888, 1898 Por 1 LW, 1898 Por 2 SW, 1899 WD, 1899 ND in EF40 right now. So I have lots to go in the halves department.
1898 newfoundland 50 cent the 1898 i have is not in very good shape. but there more hard to come byheres a pic its strange the out side is not wore as much. but i have been reading alot of the time after a lot of strikes the die wears and gets weak or the grease can fill it. maybe this is a combination or that and wear. i dont know alot but i have a friend with some older pieces in great shape im going to try and purchase some in the next little while.thoughts on what i said or as i tottaly wrong. thanks
