heres few coins a friend showed me, he doesnt collect to please excuse the way he handles them in the pic
last couple of pics the pics taken are not on my hand i took them of a bunch of coins a friend revieved from a neighbour who passed away , he doesnt hav e much respect for the coins so thats the best i could do on getting him to let me take some pics..thoughts thanks, any value?
the first pic is a 1954 elizabeth ii florin... not much value in circulated grades. the second pic is a 1956 elizabeth ii shilling, english reverse... again, not much value in circulated grades. i can pick them up locally for 25¢ each.
The coppery looking one is a Chinese 20 cash coin, I think. I have one just like it. See this thread: http://www.cointalk.com/t128178/
The fourth picture looks like balance scale weights. Probably in grams or grains. The sixth pic is a British "cartwheel" penny or twopence, hard to tell which from the pic. These have alot of value in higher grades, but low grades don't bring much. I'd say $5-$10. BTW, to tell which it is, the penny was 1 ounce of copper and the twopence was 2 ounces of copper.
I also see a German Rentenpfennig and a Jamaican penny. Both are common dates/mint marks and don't have much value (I see them all the time in 10/$1 junk bins). The Iceland 25 Aurar from 1940 is a little less common, but I've also seen it in the same bins. I had to double check, but it's copper-nickel and is only worth about 50 cents (book value).
