Is it possible to find out the production figures for all the MW roll sets?

The only one I know anything about its the 2005 Bison sets (730,000)!!

I doubt the mint keeps track of them officially but maybe SOMEWHERE there's

a person or a group that has made a study of this!!!!!!!

It's published in Numismatic News on a weekly basis. A search of the posts here will also provide an answer - it's been provided several times.

why not just give us the mintages of peace medal, keelboat on the two rolls set?. instead of searching the whole 12,000 plus thread. most of the guy asking questions were new too.

IMHO it helps people learn...when you serach you come to thread that talked about things you might not have seen if you have just had someone do your job....so you learn new things...you learn how to search so if we aren't here you still know how to find things ;)

That is my reason....I don't know what GDJMSP's is.

by looking at the link that you provided. it does not tell us the mintages that i am asking about?. the two rolls set for peace medal and keelboat. i only knew the american bison and ocean in view. and certainly i will know the 2006 nickel mintage too. why?. because i am a late comer.

Well...then search for something eles...I searched for Mintage of Nickel Rolls....I didn't say that what you were hunting was there...
Now maybe if someone has a Numismatic News maybe they can help....but I for one can't go and tell you what they are...your going to have to search.

One of my reason's is the same as yours Speedy, but there is another even more important reason. One of the things that I have stressed to others over the years more than anything else is this - read, read everything you can. That includes not only books on the subject area of your choice, but it also includes the numismatic magazines. And in order to read them - you have to subscribe to them.

Now some folks say that they can't afford to subscribe to the magazines. But I would say that you can't afford to NOT subscribe to them. They are full of information and articles that you won't find in books or on web sites or anyplace else for that matter. So if you wish to advance your knowledge of numismatics - you need to expend a little effort & a little money towards doing so. And by doing so your effort and money will be repaid 10 fold ;)
