I found this in the last box of my late fathers collection... It seems like a "NO D" version... any advice from the scans? Obviously the reverse is damaged but I'd still like to sell it... 1922-Reverse.jpg 1922-Obverse.jpg

Sorry, but the photos are too small to see proper diagnostics.

Yes, I would need to see big close ups of the date, Liberty, and Trust.

He has enough of a picture there I can tell you that it is not a "no D". The best you are going to get out of that is a weak "D" damaged. Everything I see seems to say that it is a die #3 weak "D".

Yeah,, looks like a D under the date to me... abit faint but there. You have the coin in hand, so look closely under the date. Looks like a partial D under there, unless i'm seeing something in the pic that isn't there.... as RLM said, weak D, damaged..... a good coin to put in the NO D spot in a folder.

weak D the reverse damage makes the coin uhh... On eBay you might get a couple bucks for it.. good hole filler for the NO - D slot.

there has been reference to the "slot" or the "hole" --- which book is being spoke of? I don't see one in the 'ol Whitman my dad had...
